This Texas DWI Intervention Program is specifically geared to deal with the repeat DWI offender both as a law offender and also as a problem drinker or substance user. However, this program will also address the needs of probationers who have alcohol/drug-related offenses of any type. This comprehensive evaluation and intervention program will function in concert with, and in addition to, traditional sanctions and controls. The program will work simultaneously with the offender, courts, and probation officer so that both the needs of the offender and of society will be met.
